I ended the summer trying a lot of new things and getting out of my comfort zone. At the end of August I took part in an online seminar called the Art Soul Gathering put on by teacher and Artist Ida Andersen Lang. Over the course of the event various art teachers from all over the world taught lessons in their respective mediums. In just over a week I produced 9 pieces of art, working with everything from colored pencils and water color to acrylic paint and modeling paste. I learned so much in just over a week and hope to start implementing some of the new techniques to my pieces in the future.

Check back soon to see what I do with Inktober this year. Last year for the first time ever I ended up with a Gnome theme. Check it out in my collections tab under the heading Gnometober 2023. Not sure what I will do this year maybe another theme, create an illustrated story based on the prompts or just do individual prompts. So many options! I’ll have to see what sparks my creativity once I decide on a prompt list.
